My Baking Wishlist...

I (Obviously) adore baking! And theres nothing I love more than some super cool, super cute equipment to work with. I am fortunate enough to have good appliances and great things to work with at home, aswell as generous parents who support my hobby. But theres always those few things I will forever lust over!

I have always dreamt of having one of these bad boys sitting on the counter top. They are huge and oh so cool! They will take up space on the counter, but its well deserved. Not only are they functional but they look so cool with all the different colours! I will buy myself one, one day. I will!!

Endless Supply of books:

Although I have a press that is over flowing with cookery and bakery books, the heart wants, what the heart wants! Right now, I am loving this book by the talented Irish chef Donal Skehan. His book is filled with spectacular recipes following from his television series. Definitely on my to-buy list!

Le Creuset:

Just look at that picture. Just look at it! I have dreamt of just walking into a kitchen filled with these little gems! So so cute! I would literally cook things in separate pots just to use them all! They are so cute and versatile.

That's my baking wish list (for now!!) What is on yours?

Three Ingredient Brownies!

Three Ingredient Brownies?? Like only three ingredients?

How can this be?

Incase you haven't already scrolled down to see what these mysterious ingredients could be I will let you know!

Condensed milk provides moisture and (delicious) sweetness, digestive biscuits provide a crunch and texture and lastly, chocolate chips add texture, sweetness and amazing flavour! Mix these three in a bowl and what do you make? Beautifulness--Oh wait I mean Brownies :)

A few years back one of my closest friends brought these into school to share with us. She asked a simple question, 'Guess what are in these brownies?'. Laughingly I said 'Well flour anyway!!'. And she replied 'No!'. I was gobsmacked! How could you have brownies with out flour??

A few weeks back we met up and she brought these beauties with her. I remembered them and this time I got the recipe! You can literally whip these up in a few minutes and even serve them warm.

Lets roll...

500g Digestive Biscuits
397g Can of Condensed Milk
150g Plain Chocolate Chips

1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line a Swiss roll tin.

2. Place the biscuits into a bag. Using a rolling pin, or other implement, break up the biscuits into small            pieces.

3. In a bowl, mix together the milk, chocolate and the broken biscuits.

4. Scoop into a tray and bake for 20 minutes, or until browned.

Enjoy! Its so delicious when warm and lasts for days when cold. So, so sweet, don't think the dentists will thank me!

Candy Bar Blondies..

Happy New Year everyone! I suppose everyone has heard that milliooonns of times by now! Ah well, everyone loves a party! Another reason to celebrate, eh!

2013 was a big year for my blog! Because, well, I started it! I began my blog back in July and am loving it! I have had some great opportunities and very kind people help me along the way. They haven given me advice and encouragement, and for those, I am thankful!

I know I don't have the most popular blog in the world (clearly!!!) but I still love what I do, and I can't wait for it to grow during 2014! Maybe someday I will be like Sally or even Lindsey, who I have a major blog crush on!!

Anyway, I hope all my readers have fantastic New Year celebrations and enjoy 2014, fulfilling their hopes and dreams throughout it!

These were made extra tasty, by using Butlers white cooking chocolate. This chocolate is from an Irish company called Butlers. They are one of Irelands favourite chocolatiers and all their produce is super tasty! The high quality can really be tasted, when you take a bite, and the chocolate oozes out! Simply.Perfect.

2 Eggs
1 1/2 Tbls Golden Syrup
210g Self-Raising Flour

150g Butlers white cooking chocolate (Or any other good quality chocolate)
100g Candy Bars (A mixture- Mars/KitKat/Toffee Crisp etc.)

2. In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and creamy. Then one by one, beat in the eggs until fully combined.

3. Then, add the golden syrup and mix again until fully combined.

4. Using a sieve, add in the flour, custard powder and baking powder. Mix on a low speed until all the flour is evenly combined.

5. Using the spatula, add in the chocolate, bars and marshmallows. Stir until just combined.

6. Spread evenly into the prepared tin and bake for 15-18 minutes.

After that, take it out and cut into squares. Theres only more step... Indulge!
