This recipe is spicy and perfect for the summer heat. Served with cous cous or a salad it makes the perfect summer meal.
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Saffron
1/2 tsp Tumeric
2 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
1 1/2 tblsp Vegetable oil
1 1/2 tblsp Lemon juice
3 tblsp Parsley (chopped)
1 1/2 pounds of Chicken/Turkey
- Add all the ingredients for the marinade in a bowl.
- Chop the meat into chunks. Places the meat in the bowl and toss to cover in the spices.
- When all the meat is covered in the marinade, cover the bowl with cling film/tinfoil and place in the fridge for a few hours/overnight.
- After a few hours take the meat out and begin to create the skewers. Place a mixture of meat and vegetables on the skewers in no particular order
Now you can cook these in the oven for about 25 minutes or on a barbeque.
